Music has the power to evoke emotions and memories. Thus, Christmas carols can make the Christmas story come alive. Christmas is the festival designed to spread light in the dark, deep midwinter months, and the celebrations of Jesus's birth. Christmas carols are appropriately uplifting and celebratory to honour such an occasion. Our Grades VI, VII, and VIII students participated in a Zonal Carol singing competition on Friday 22nd December 2023, organized by the Ryan Group of Institutions at Bhavdhan, and bagged first place for the same. They encapsulated the story of the nativity and the birth of Jesus Christ, the joy, devotion, and awe-inspiring scenes of the nativity through melodious euphonic carols. With the instrumentalists accompanying them, the songs boomed out and resounded positively. The ambiance was filled with exhilaration among the participants and the audience.
