Students usually have an innate curiosity about the world around them. The science lab encourages this curiosity. As they investigate and discover new things, they develop their thinking skills and gain knowledge about the world around them. Therefore, a science lab is essential for students to learn and explain scientific facts and theories. Lab activity was conducted for the students of Grade VI with reference to the chapter “The Body and its Movements'' during their science period. Students observed the skull, ribcage, limbs, etc. They also observed the different types of joints present between the two bones. This activity made it easier for students to understand the types of joints present in humans and the type of movements each joint allows. Humongous excitement and curiosity were evident among the learners. ""
