Observation is essential in Science. It is an important part of scientific inquiry and leads to discovery and learning. Lab activity was conducted for the students of Grade VII with reference to the chapter “Light”, during their Science period. The teacher demonstrated various experiments to illustrate the image formation by concave and convex mirrors and lenses. Students keenly observed and inferred the characteristics of the images formed. This activity enabled the students to understand the concept clearly. Humongous excitement and curiosity were evident among the learners.
