Meera, also known as Meera Bai, is a celebrated saint, well known for her extensive devotional poetry and songs dedicated to Krishna. Grade VIII students were engaged in a group activity during their Hindi period. Students elucidated the devotion of Meerabai, which included ecstatic dancing and singing out of sheer love for the divine. Students brainstormed the possible points of discussion between Meera and her deity Lord Krishna if they ever met and enacted the same. The activity enabled the students to appreciate the divine devotion that Meera had for Krishna.
