A report writing activity on the need to prevent food wastage was conducted for the students of Grade VIII during Social Studies period. Students actively participated in report writing. They were critically engaged in gathering information, facts and summarizing the various ways of preventing food wastage. The activity provided a platform for the learners to be apprised with the global issue of food wastage and its repercussions. Thus, instilling values of compassion, responsibility and empathy towards the society within the learners.
