World Heritage Day is observed annually on April 18th to raise awareness about the significance of World Heritage sites and the importance of safeguarding them for future generations. The theme for this year's World Heritage Day is ‘Discover and Experience Diversity’. An assembly to commemorate the day with great enthusiasm was conducted by the students of Grade VIII B on Friday, 19th April 2024. Students shared a few interesting facts about the world heritage sites. They motivated their peers by challenging them with some interesting quiz related to the theme of the assembly. The class teacher further shared a few insights on ways to preserve our rich heritage. The event encouraged our young learners to embrace the wealth of cultural diversity worldwide, reinforcing the importance of preserving and cherishing our collective heritage for generations to come.
