Comics speak to students in a way they understand and identify with. A comic strip-making activity was conducted for the students of Grade VI with reference to the chapter ‘Living Organisms and their Surroundings’ during their Science period. Students made creative captivating comic strips to illustrate the adaptations of animals and plants in different habitats such as desert, aquatic, tropical rainforest, grassland, polar, and mountain regions. They expressed the concept with beautiful images. The activity promoted creativity, critical thinking, sequencing, and communication skills. Students participated with humongous zeal and excitement.
