Art Integrated Project is a teaching-learning model that is based on learning ‘through the arts’ and ‘with the arts’; it is a process where art becomes the medium of teaching-learning, a key to understanding concepts within any subject of the curriculum. Collage-making activity for the students of Grade VI was conducted during the science period with reference to the chapter – “Living Organisms and Their Surroundings”. Mesmerizing collages were made by the students on habitats and animals found in the habitats of Sikkim and Maharashtra. College-making helped them to develop their reasoning, creative, imaginative, and problem-solving skills. Doing art enhanced their motor skills, and hand and eye coordination. The learners completely enjoyed this artistic method of learning which was visible in their efforts and collages.
